Day 8: Praying for your Future Husband Series
Scripture:
Proverbs 17:17 NKJV
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
I pray for the friendships in my future husband’s life. Surround him with godly men who will encourage, challenge, and support him in his walk with You. May his friendships be built on mutual respect, love, and a shared commitment to growing in faith. Help him to be a loyal and loving friend, and may his relationships reflect Your love. Pray he finds godly friends who will walk alongside him, offering encouragement, accountability, and support. I pray that he will have the wisdom to choose friends who inspire him to grow in his faith and live out his calling and they will be a source of strength and joy.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
Reflection:
Friendships play a significant role in shaping who we are. The people we surround ourselves with can either draw us closer to God or lead us away from Him. Strong, Christ-centered friendships are a blessing, providing companionship and support in both good times and bad. They are also a reflection of God’s love and care for us. Remember that iron sharpens iron, and by fostering godly friendships, we can grow in our walk with Christ.
Reflect on our friendships as well. Are our relationships helping us to become the person God has called us to be? Consider how we can be a godly friend to others, offering love, support, and encouragement in their faith journeys.
