Day 6: Praying for your Future Husband Series
Scripture:
Proverbs 11:3 NIV
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.
Prayer:
Lord, I pray that my future husband will walk in integrity, making decisions that honor You. May his words and actions be aligned with Your Word, and may he be a man who stands firm in righteousness. Give him courage to stand up for what is right in compromising situations and give him the strength to uphold Your standards in every aspect of his life. I pray that he will be a man who values integrity above all else and who inspires others to do the same. If he falls, that he will forgive himself and learn from his mistakes. Thank you for being with him everywhere he goes.

Reflection:
Integrity is a cornerstone of a godly character. It’s about being the same person in private as you are in public, ensuring that your actions, thoughts, and words are consistently in line with God’s truth. When a man has integrity, he becomes a trustworthy leader, friend, and partner. As we pray for our future husbands’ integrity, it’s also important to reflect on your own life. Are there areas where we struggle to maintain integrity? What steps can we take to align our lives more closely with God’s Word? Walking in integrity isn’t always easy. It may require making difficult choices that others may not understand. But the reward of living a life that pleases God is priceless. Integrity brings peace of mind, strengthens relationships, and reflects the character of Christ to the world. As you wait for your future husband, ask God to help you grow in integrity as well, so that together you can build a marriage founded on trust, truth, and unwavering commitment to God’s principles.
